Term Assistant Professor

George Mason University, Department of Molecular and Microbiology seeks applicants for an instructional Term Assistant Professor in microbiology. A Ph.D. degree, or equivalent, in a relevant area is required. Duties may include teaching bacteriology and microbiology (including instruction to microbiology, medical microbiology, microbial physiology, microbial genetics and their associated labs). Additional duties may include teaching an introduction to cell biology and advising undergraduate students. The Biology Program at Mason has approximately 1,000 majors, making it the largest undergraduate program in the College of Science.
